Forget about whatever you hear about from friends, family and promoters of weight loss or better health and wealth so let’s start anew!

You are can do anything if that’s what you want.

Are you now doing things like taking responsibility for yourself?   Are you stretching, working out? Are you looking for ways to make and save monies? If so you are getting many aspects of your life in gear. Everything you’re doing shows that you can make decisions and follow through with control of your actions.

Have you learned that the thoughts you have are the things that manifest in your life. The way you eat and the food you eat, being proactive in your health and wealth also manifest in how you look and feel.

How we think, what we think, how much and how often affects everything about us. Not everyone wants to lose weight or make a lot of money; however, everything here is connected with health and wealth, and it all reinforces that you are in charge. Each day builds and strengthens you.

It’s important to know that learning about health and wealth is not only learning about how that affects you and your energy levels but one of the things I stress is making things easy and simple. So I cover a few basic concepts to get you on the right track.

•        You need to make this day successful.
•        You are in charge.
•        You make your decisions.
•        You can retrain your brain and change your habits. 

You know you can do anything, so you already know you can do anything we talk about. You know it’s all up to you and that you are not a victim. You make your choices, and you know I’m not going to ask you to do the impossible.

I want you to know that you can do anything. I don’t want you to lie to yourself; I want you to listen to your inner voice.  One of the problems with all these diet books and nutrition plans and home-based businesses is their lack of user-friendly application. They can get quite technical. They make it sound like learning a complex science. They assume you want to become a scholar. It’s tough enough to take on health and wealth programs without having the tools to do it. Now they want you to endure charts and tables and what they contain.

Let’s keep this simple, and let’s keep this honest.  You can’t lie to yourself. You can’t lie to yourself and listen to your inner voice, you already know many of the things you should be doing about health and wealth. You know what’s good and bad for you. You know the truth.

Let’s first start to talk about health or losing weight. 

The sad part is, with the fast food industry, we condition ourselves and our children to get fat. The process leaves us with health problems to face for a lifetime.  In addition, the social issues are relentless because obese children lose self-esteem. This causes problems in social life and career choices. We need to create immediate, strong corrections to this trend.

I make you aware of these facts for two reasons:

1) If you are facing weight issues, know that this is not just about you


2) Even if you’re not overweight, know that as a society we all have an obligation to help correct this trend, especially in terms of how our children are targeted with marketing.  After all, we spent more money on fast food last year than we did on higher education. That doesn’t include the medical costs as a result.


Please understand, when I talk about weight, I’m not implying that we all need to look like a fashion model. I’m talking about being healthy and feeling good. This may be different for each person, and this is about making your life whatever you want it to be, not making you someone else’s picture of what you should look like.


In fact, let’s not forget the statistic that always amazes me: 
•        95% of all people who go on a diet gain the weight back.
•        Every time you go on a diet and fail, you strip yourself of your power.
•        It reinforces that you can’t succeed, and you think the problem is with you.


The problem is not you. The problem is that diets for the most part are not designed to work. They don’t focus on the only way you can succeed, and that is through how you think.


Let’s start really simply.  Neither charts nor nutrition tables, let’s just start with the truth you already know.  We’re going to make it easy.  I’m not going to make you face the truth about the foods you are eating. Not yet.  For now, let’s eat everything that you are eating now. “I thought you were going to help me with everything, and I need to lose some weight!” Listen, this newsletter is mind, body and spirit, and you can learn to lose weight. What’s your rush?  That’s one of the first obstacles we need to overcome, the desperation and need for immediate results. You didn’t gain the weight overnight, and you shouldn’t try to lose it overnight.


Let’s now talk about wealth

•        Are you concerned about how the failing economy will impact you

•        Are you concerned about the economy

•        Are you concerned about fuel costs

•        Are you concerned about unemployment

•        Are you concerned about the cost of health care

How the Brain Relates to Health and Wealth

We have talked a lot about the brain, so let’s continue with how the brain relates to health and wealth. The body has a “set point.” The set point is the health or wealth the brain tries to maintain, and this set point is one of the reasons it’s difficult to have health or wealth. The mechanism that regulates the set point control is located in the brain. The brain is controlled and functions by the ability of the neurotransmitters to function efficiently.

Improving health or wealth may be difficult because the brain consistently attempts to return the body to the set point. The set point in the brain can change over time, rising with the consistent consumption of high-fat foods, and falling with consistent exercise and a lower fat diet or gains or losses in your personal finances. The way to get the brain to work for you and help you is a gradual and consistent practice of a healthy lifestyle.

Funny, the very thing you need to perform at your best is what you starve and weaken. One thing you need to be able to do is make adjustments in lifestyle through the process of conscious thinking.  When you don’t feed your brain properly, you’re working against yourself. You get fatigued, and thinking is impaired. You experience the onset of headaches and other symptoms.

Balance
The brain needs a balance. Feed the brain, keep yourself healthy and make slow, gradual adjustments. Let the Law of Accumulation and Consistency be your friend and guide.
You know I could go on and on, but let’s keep it simple and easy.  No major lifestyle changes.
You will get fit and you are in control.
