Physicians' Desk Reference (PDR) (Supplements)
For more than fifty years, physicians and health care professionals have relied upon the Physicians' Desk Reference (PDR) for the most up-to-date information on pharmaceuticals and other health-related products.
During this time, complementary copies of the PDR have been distributed annually to primary care physicians, retail pharmacies, and other health care professionals such as chiropractors, naturopaths and nurse practitioners including issues sold in bookstores.
It is found in the offices of virtually every health care professional and on the desk of every nurse's station on every floor of every hospital, in every pharmacy and in an increasing number of homes.
The PDR has earned a reputation as one of the most trusted standard references for drug and health product information not only for physicians but also for all who are involved in health care.
In a recent survey of physician users, it was found that 95% of all physicians refer to the PDR when in need of prescribing information and another 9% uses it before prescribing unfamiliar products.
In total, physicians reference the PDR approximately one quarter of a billion times a year. The extent of its use as a reference text may not be readily apparent to the general public but it is absolutely acknowledged by those within the health care industry. The PDR is viewed by health professionals as the most reliable source for credible information.
To satisfy a need for a reference source of information on non-prescription medications and dietary supplements (non-promotional information), the Physicians Desk Reference for Nonprescription Drugs and Dietary Supplements was created by the same organization that produces the PDR for pharmaceuticals.
As more and more consumers use dietary supplements, this newer PDR is a standard reference for all health care professionals and for all people who are proactive with their health and wellness to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the products they are taking.
It raises the level of credibility of referenced nonprescription drugs and dietary supplement products and facilitates usage credibility for the user. This dramatically increases product awareness making it easier to recommend referenced products.

Many of the people reading my newsletters have been asking me how they can order the wellness products that I use in my practice. The reason I have faith in these products is they actually provide the vital nutrients my body requires for wellness, and the company has a six month, money-back guarantee.
